Gridproof turns a shoot into a decision: cull it fast, then deliver a clean contact sheet your client can answer. Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad. No account, no uploads, no subscription. Your 2.0 projects move over automatically. - Sheet designer with live preview: US Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4 or A3, portrait or landscape, 1-8 columns and 1-10 rows, light or dark sheet, your studio name and contact line, watermark text, and presets for contact sheets, client proofs, print selects and dark film-style sheets. - Choose what goes on the sheet: every photo, all but Drops, Keep and Maybe, Keep only, client picks, or a minimum star rating. Labels under each photo: number, decision and stars, file name, exposure, capture date, caption. - Client tick boxes: proofs can carry a real PDF check box under every photo. Your client ticks the ones they want in a PDF app that fills forms and sends the file back; Gridproof reads the ticks and marks those photos. Clients who reply with numbers instead ("3, 7, 12-15") are covered too: paste the reply and Gridproof finds the photos. - File name lists for your editing software: comma-separated names for a text filter, one name per line, or photo numbers. Copy or share. - Deliver as PDF, a JPEG per page, or straight to a printer. The CSV lists every photo with its decision, rating, label, client pick, file name and camera data. - Shortcuts action "Make Contact Sheet": give it images, get a PDF back. - Faster grid, filters for Keep, Maybe, Drop, Undecided, client picks and 3+ stars, reorder by capture time, file name or rating, duplicate projects, and VoiceOver actions on every photo. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a project and add photos from Photos or Files. 2. Cull full screen or right from the grid. 3. Design the sheet, then build the PDF, share it with the CSV, print it or send JPEG pages. 4. When the client answers, read their ticks or numbers back into the project. WHAT TO KNOW Gridproof stores resized preview copies (up to 1200 pixels on the long edge) with your decisions. Sheets are for proofing and selection, not original-resolution delivery. Originals in Photos and Files are never edited or deleted. Photo numbers follow project order, so filtered sheets can skip numbers; the CSV always lists every photo.
