Name the area you are filming. That name sits beside the date on the preview and in the exported film, and the timeline stays to the right of the name. Turn the inlay on or off. When it is on, a red outline marks it on the map, the preview, and the film. Move it to any corner. Leader lines connect the source box to the enlarged inset. A longer side of 8 km holds two inlays, and 12 km holds three. One corner stays clear. Center a timelapse on where you are. Location is used only while the app is open, one fix at a time. It is not tracked, and the app does not ask for Always. From and To sit with the date presets: 2017 → now, Last year, and Last 45 days. Name the film you export. The default file is still s2-timeline. Rebuilding a shorter date range, including a single day, no longer crashes. Choosing a place (Starbase, Colossus, or Cape Canaveral) starts a fresh box and clears the previous inlay and area name. Selecting the inlay no longer freezes the page.

About
Sentinel-2 Clear Days helps you find low-cloud Sentinel-2 days over a place you care about, build a scrubbable timeline, and export a short film. Draw or drop an area on the map (or use presets such as Starbase, Colossus, and Cape Canaveral). Scan public Sentinel-2 L2A imagery for clear dates, review cloud/shadow/granule stats, build a timeline, play it at 1–12 frames per second, and export a film that matches that preview speed. Optional inlay box or circle and MGRS or lat/long burn-in on composed frames. Features • Area and inlay tools (box or circle) on Apple Maps • Place search and km-sized drop presets • Clear-day scan across the Sentinel-2 era (or shorter windows) • Timeline scrub, play speed, and film export • On-device stacks—no Marshall Frith account or backend Network: the app queries the public Element84 Earth Search STAC API (sentinel-2-l2a) and downloads Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFF windows from the asset URLs returned; place search may use OpenStreetMap Nominatim; the basemap uses Apple MapKit.
