Sine Circles. Practise with friends in a room of your own, where everyone's Sine hangs out together. Play the same daily challenge and see who wears the crown, send note mail your friends open by ear, cheer each other on, and reach a weekly goal together for new outfits and backgrounds. Start one from your profile. Out of Tune, the orchestra edition. An orchestra plays a famous piece and one player is out of tune: hold a player or a whole section to hear them alone, and call out the one who sounds off. From Rehearsal to Gala night, with Sine at the grand piano for the last concert. Free plays now come back every six hours. Every instrument, free. Pick what Sine plays every lesson and game on, from guitar to tuba, without Encore. There's a violin now, and the cello is a real one, recorded, bow and all. In your instrument's key. Play trumpet, clarinet, sax or horn? Pick your instrument's key in Settings and every note is named the way your music writes it, with the lessons in your key. Tuned your way. Concert A can be 440 Hz or 442, as many orchestras tune, and the wash of sound between questions can run short, medium or long. Longer ones are busier too, so the last note really leaves your ear. A profile of your own. Tap Sine at the top of Home to see your Sine score, trophies, streak and days played in one place. Choose which numbers show, and share a profile card. New backgrounds open up as you play on more days. Sine in your language. The app now comes in Português (Brasil), Español, Français, 한국어, Bahasa Indonesia, Polski, Türkçe and ไทย: pick one in Settings. Note names can be Do Ré Mi too, spelled the way your country spells them. A perfect score shines. A Sine score of 100 turns gold, and scoring 95 or more wins the Pristine trophy and Sine's Laureate outfit. Encore for life now comes with a conductor's tailcoat, and a year of Encore wins the Season ticket trophy. A smoother Tune-up. Otto and the customers move as one piece, Sine is no longer cut off at the edges, and long sessions stay smoother: if your phone starts to fall behind, the shop holds its scenery still. Leaving in the middle of a run now asks first, so a stray swipe can't end it. Fixes. Fewer freezes on Android, animations settle without bouncing, the band's trumpeter is crisp again, and the wave between questions shows again on phones.

About

Most people are told perfect pitch is you are born with. It is not. It is a skill, and like any skill it comes from short, honest practice. Sine is that practice, made pleasant enough that you keep coming back. HEAR IT. NAME IT. KNOW IT. A note plays. You pick the key. There is no reference note and nothing to compare against, so every answer has to come from your own ear. Between questions a wash of sound clears the last note away, which is the part every other trainer skips. ONE NOTE AT A TIME You start with two notes that sit far apart, then add one more, then one more. The white keys, then the black keys, then the chords that carry most songs. Every level is short, and you pass it when you are ready, not on a schedule. A COACH WHO SAYS LITTLE Sine is a ring-tailed lemur who listens with you. It notices a run of five, a note that used to slip, a slow answer that was still right. It never scolds. Your streak forgives a missed day, because life has those. INTERACTIVE GAMES FOR YOUR EAR Sine Duel races you to a note, or races a friend across the same phone. Defuse plays a run of notes and you tap it back before the fuse burns down. Tune-up plays a note a few hertz off and asks flat, sharp, or in tune. We add more and more games to our library weekly! EVERY ANSWER, KEPT Stats by note and by chord, the note you confuse each one with, and a shelf of badges for what you have done. ENCORE We have a generous free-tier, but if you'd like to support our growing team, Encore unlocks everything now and later. Monthly at $1.99, or yearly at $29.99 with the first 7 days free. Prices vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings.
