Listing changes AppTracker has observed for this app in this storefront — new versions, price moves, rating shifts, and store copy.
The duty evidence ledger now reports the same waiver count the rest of the app does. Orders you marked "VA compensation paused for these days" were being counted on the page you sign and send — they no longer are, and the excluded days are named on the page so the arithmetic closes. Per diem: Keflavik pays Iceland's everywhere-else rate, and the picker now reflects that. A looked-up rate clears itself when you change country or switch between overseas and stateside; a rate you typed yourself is left alone. Tables updated to 1 Sep 2026. New in Rates: Where these numbers come from — every embedded table, the agency that publishes it, and a link to that agency's own page. Also: unsaved profile edits now ask before they are discarded, and every checkbox row is tappable across its full width.

About
Drill Wizard is a pay and retirement calculator built for the Guard and Reserve — the only one that keeps your three calendars straight at once: points and good years by anniversary year, money and taxes by calendar year, the VA waiver by fiscal year. It prices a drill period the way DFAS does — basic pay ÷ 30, FICA and TSP on basic pay only, the BRS match — and prices your orders line by line: BAH, BAS, per diem, quarters, CZTE. Photograph your LES and it reads what was paid and checks it against your plan. Forward your muster email and it answers your check-in. It projects your points, your good year, your retired pay and your TSP at pay start, and forecasts the VA Form 21-8951 before it mails. Everything stays on your phone: no account, no server, no telemetry. Find something wrong? Be the first to report it and Ephemeris Labs will pay you the price of the app. Built by a drilling Navy Reserve officer. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM Drill Wizard does not originate any government figure. Every rate is published by the agency that sets it, and you can read each one at its source: • Basic pay, BAS, BAH (non-locality) — DFAS https://www.dfas.mil/MilitaryMembers/payentitlements/Pay-Tables/ • BAH locality rates — DoD Defense Travel Management Office https://www.travel.dod.mil/Allowances/Basic-Allowance-for-Housing/ • CONUS per diem (M&IE) — GSA https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates • OCONUS per diem (M&IE) — DoD Defense Travel Management Office https://www.travel.dod.mil/Travel-Transportation-Rates/Per-Diem/ • VA disability compensation rates — VA https://www.va.gov/disability/compensation-rates/veteran-rates/ • VA Form 21-8951-2 — VA https://www.va.gov/find-forms/about-form-21-8951-2/ • TSP returns, limits and BRS match — TSP https://www.tsp.gov/ • SGLI premiums — VA https://www.va.gov/life-insurance/options-eligibility/sgli/ • Social Security wage base (FICA) — SSA https://www.ssa.gov/oact/cola/cbb.html NOT A GOVERNMENT APP. Drill Wizard is an independent planning tool from Ephemeris Labs LLC. It is not a DoD, VA, or DFAS system, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government agency. Every figure is a planning estimate. Your LES, your pay system, and your official VA correspondence always win.
