New version 1.0 → 1.1

Thank you for the feedback so far. We're glad to hear how people are using Buildhorn. This new update contains the following improvements. iPhone Duo Support! - Take advantage of the larger display to view your builds and their statuses. GitHub Reconnect Support - Some users who uninstalled Buildhorn and reinstalled it were running into problems setting it up again with GitHub. This build fixes that so you can get setup again seamlessly. Improved Widget Information - Your widgets now have a build failed badge to show how many times your builds has failed before a green build. You better go fix that quick by the way Improved Repo Detail Information - We've also added the build failed badge to the repo detail screen so well. Now you have twice the chance of feeling bad for that "quick fix" you pushed

About

Away from your laptop? In a work rush? Deep focus? Working? Shirking? Something in-between? Get the Buildhorn app to be in the know the instant your build breaks when you’re on the move… HOW DOES IT WORK? Buildhorn monitors your CI/CD pipelines, informing you as soon as something’s amiss: It sends a push notification to your Apple device the moment a build fails It also shows the your latest repository status via nifty home screen widgets It provides optional fun alert noises and sassy insults for each notification WHY BUILDHORN? Most CI tools send updates in a browser tab or email inbox, where you need to remember and check… check… keep checking… reload and refresh… doesn’t it get tiresome? Buildhorn flips this around; simply connect your repos once and let the status come to you! Its realtime, web hook-driven connection means you find out the second a run completes — not on the next refresh, and not five minutes too late, giving you more freedom to focus on more important tasks. GITHUB ACTIONS TODAY (More On The Way…) Buildhorn currently supports GitHub Actions, with additional CI/CD providers coming up on the roadmap. As the app is built from the ground up as a CI status tool, it’s not a “single provider” or company-affiliated, meaning future updates will focus beyond GitHub. Soon, this app could be your one-stop shop for getting build warnings across various CI systems! APPLE DEVICE HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Add an iPhone widget for each repo you care about. Each widget shows that repo’s latest build status at a glance, with a green or red light right from your home screen. No need to even open the app! INSTANT FAILURE ALERTS — NO INFO OVERLOAD! Get a push notification as soon as a build actually fails — not an annoying ping for every run — only the interesting bits that actually need your attention. However, if you do need further info on the go, simply tap straight through to the failing run. BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY WORK No separate account to create! Just connect your existing GitHub account in seconds, through GitHub’s own secure installation flow. Buildhorn only ever requests read-only access to your Actions workflows — nothing else, helping respect your privacy. COMPLETELY FREE! (+ Upgrade Options) You can track two repositories completely free in the app, or you can upgrade (with our low introductory subscription fee) for unlimited GitHub repository support and widgets — to cover everything you’re building. Perfect for indie developers, freelancers juggling multiple client repos and pipelines, and small engineering teams who need to know the moment something breaks, without babysitting a laptop, browser tab, or email inbox!
