About
Someone asks "know a gaffer in Atlanta?" With CrewDex you filter by role and city, pick your person, and text a clean contact card. Ten seconds, done. CrewDex is a crew directory built for film and TV freelancers. Your phone's address book knows names and numbers. It doesn't know who's a gaffer, who's in Atlanta, or who you'd hire again. CrewDex does. — Privacy Policy: https://crewdex.tylermarkhenderson.com/privacy.html Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ BUILT FOR SET • Tag every contact by role, city, and specialty • Stack filters: "Gaffer" plus "Atlanta" shows exactly who can take the call • Keep private star ratings and notes on everyone you've worked with • Assign roles to build out a crew list for your next job SHARE WITHOUT OVERSHARING • Send a clean contact card as plain text or a .vcf file • Only name, role, location, phone, and email go out • Ratings, notes, and personal tags are never included • The share log remembers who you referred and when IMPORT IN MINUTES, NOT AN AFTERNOON • Pull crew straight from your phone's contacts, or just the iPhone groups you pick • CrewDex reads job titles, companies, and group names and suggests the right tags • Review suggestions one swipe at a time, say yes to all, or finish later • Duplicates are spotted and skipped automatically PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no sync • Import from your address book with permission, or add crew manually • Your address book is never modified • Delete the app and its data goes with it Made by a working DP who got tired of scrolling Contacts looking for that one Steadicam op from two jobs ago.
