Reader Ultra

About

Reader Ultra is RSS the way it should be: fast, clean, and completely free of nonsense. No cluttered timelines. No ads dressed up as articles. No algorithm deciding what you see. Just your feeds, your folders, and a reading experience built for speed and focus — on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. GET STARTED IN SECONDS Fill your reader your way. Add feeds by hand, paste in your own feed URLs, import an existing OPML file to bring your whole library across in one step — or skip the setup entirely and pick from a specially curated selection of quality feeds to get you reading straight away. However you start, you're only a tap or two from your first article. FAST, FROM LAUNCH TO LAST ARTICLE Reader Ultra opens instantly and stays out of your way. Scrolling is smooth, articles load clean, and everything is designed to get you reading in seconds — not fighting a busy interface. A PRIVATE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE SYNC SERVICE Reader Ultra includes its own private RSS sync service — not a bolt-on, and not built on tracking. Your feeds and reading state sync across every device in real time, and it's fast: read an article on your Mac and it's already marked read on your iPhone; add a feed on your iPad and it appears everywhere in seconds. Silent background push keeps every device current without draining your battery, and the whole service is engineered for speed and reliability even with hundreds of feeds and thousands of articles. Sync is included at no extra cost — there's no separate account to juggle and nothing to configure. NATIVE ON EVERY PLATFORM, OPTIMISED FOR EACH Reader Ultra isn't a single app stretched to fit — it's built natively for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and tuned for each one. On iPhone it's a fast, one-handed reader designed for quick sessions on the go. On iPad it takes full advantage of the larger canvas with multi-column layouts, split view, and keyboard support. On Mac it's a true desktop app with real keyboard shortcuts, resizable columns, and multiple windows — the polish Mac users expect. Whichever device you pick up, it feels like it was made for that device, because it was. FOLDERS AND SMART FEEDS, YOUR WAY Organise feeds into folders and make them yours — custom names, custom SF Symbol icons, and colours that help you find what you want at a glance. A tidy sidebar means less hunting and more reading. PERSONALISE EVERY DETAIL Reader Ultra is yours to shape. Choose from 20+ app icons and matching app accent colours to set the whole app's tone. Customise the sidebar to suit how you read — tailor the status tile, adjust the analytics tile, or hide the analytics tile entirely for a cleaner, more focused layout. Make it as informative or as minimal as you like. OPTIMISED SHARING Share the way you actually want to. Reader Ultra gives you clean, fast sharing to your favourite apps — the full article, the link, or a quick summary — with a share sheet that just works. SAFARI EXTENSION Subscribe straight from Safari. The extension finds every feed on the page — even the ones sites don't advertise — and hands it to Reader Ultra, ready to add.
