- NEW: follow a drive you recorded. Open a trip in Statistics and tap "Follow this drive": turn-by-turn along the same roads you took, not a new route between its ends. If you leave it, it takes you back to them - NEW: when navigating, race the arrival time the route promised, live and when you get there - NEW: free Pro for reporting. Every ten of your reports that other drivers confirm earn a month of Pro, up to three a year, redeemed in the App Store - NEW: report police helicopters, enforcement drones and roadworks radars - NEW: the DGT's signposted motorcycle risk stretches, if you want them. Off unless you turn them on; warned as you enter and leave. Spain only - NEW: Madrid low-emission zone (ZBE) access cameras, if you want them. Off unless you turn them on. They fine cars without a valid environmental label for entering, not for speed - NEW: in Catalonia, the Servei Català de Trànsit's mobile radar stretches join the DGT's. More DGT stretches now show on the map, and the DGT's latest report adds fixed and section cameras - NEW: official speed cameras in Sweden and Poland - Fewer false alerts: no cameras from the other direction or another road, and none counted twice - Voice camera alerts are on by default on new installs; lower speed limits ahead are spoken when they are near (about 20 seconds away), not a kilometre and a half out; and each camera in your radar history shows a small map of the spot - NEW: warnings for the mobile radars other drivers report, by voice, notification, on the watch and in CarPlay - NEW: habitual mobile radar spots. Where drivers have seen a mobile radar on several different days, the app remembers it and warns you every time you pass, until votes say they no longer set up there. In Catalonia, also the trailer radar locations published by the Servei Català de Trànsit - NEW: "My radars". Press and hold the map to save a spot where you know radars are set up; you are warned when you pass, in both directions, and it stays on your iPhone - NEW: press and hold the map to drive anywhere, even where there is no address - NEW: DGT mobile radar zones. Warned as you enter and leave the stretches where the DGT deploys mobile radars, and shown on the map. Spain only - NEW: DGT seatbelt and phone cameras, with their own warning - NEW: radar history. The speed you passed each camera at, with its limit and direction, instead of fines avoided - NEW: name your drives and file them in folders - NEW: "Talk less" for voice guidance, and the next turn on the windshield HUD - NEW: "See the spot" on any camera, at street level, and compare routes by licence plate readers - NEW: open RadarIO when you get in the car with a Shortcuts automation - NEW: several cars. Each drive goes to the car you're in, recognised by its Bluetooth or CarPlay, or to the car you picked - NEW: simpler Settings, in six groups instead of one long list - Fixed: navigation could announce the turn after the next one and say you had arrived a street early - Fixed: danger zone mode now appears only in France and follows where the car is, not the phone's region - NEW: "I need fuel". One button shows the stations you can still reach on the range you have left, with prices, ordered by how little you leave your route - NEW: licence plate readers, if you want them. Off unless you turn them on. They cannot fine you for speeding, so they get their own warning and never appear in your radar history - NEW: electric trip planner. The charging stops the trip actually takes: which chargers, which socket, how long at each. If the trip cannot be made, it tells you where you would run out - NEW: both planners, on CarPlay too - Uses less battery while the car is parked

About

Every year, thousands of drivers get fined by a camera they never saw. A hidden mobile radar. A section camera your sat-nav didn't know about. A speed limit sign you missed. Suddenly it's a €200 fine and points on your licence. Most speed camera apps are slow and bloated. RadarIO is 9.6 MB and opens instantly. EVERY CAMERA ON YOUR ROUTE Fixed cameras, mobile radars, section controls and red light cameras. 79,000+ of them worldwide, refreshed every week. Other drivers report mobile radars, and you are warned about them like any other camera. Where they are set up again and again, the app remembers the spot. And every ten of your reports that other drivers confirm earn you a free month of Pro. In Spain, also the zones where the DGT deploys mobile radars, on the map and announced as you enter and leave, and its seatbelt and phone cameras. And your own radars: press and hold the map on that spot where there is always one, and you will be warned every time you pass. You get voice, sound and vibration warnings, at the distance you choose for each speed limit. You also get the limit itself, so you know what you are being measured against. Licence plate readers too, if you want them. They are off until you turn them on. They cannot fine you for speeding, so they get their own warning and never appear in your radar history. SEE HOW YOU ACTUALLY DRIVE Every drive is recorded on its own, and you can name it and file it in folders. Distance, time, your fastest routes, and the speed you passed each camera at. The road gets painted by how you drove it, compared to your own history. A live delta you can switch between your average, your best, and the limit. Replay a drive on the map with its speed graph. Follow it again turn by turn, along the same roads. Or put two drives on the same road side by side, plotted against distance instead of the clock, with both cars running at once. WHEN THE SIGNAL DROPS In a tunnel, the car keeps moving along the road instead of freezing, so exits and cameras are still announced. The app learns where your own signal dies and downloads the road ahead before you get there. FUEL, CHARGING AND YOUR CAR One button shows the fuel stations you can still reach on the range you have left, with prices, sorted by how little you leave your route. Driving electric? RadarIO plans the charging stops the trip actually needs — which chargers, which socket, how long at each. If the trip cannot be made, it tells you where you would run out. My Car keeps an odometer that updates itself as you drive, service reminders by date or mileage, and a fuel and expense log. It also remembers where you parked, without you pressing anything. ALSO IN THE BOX - Turn-by-turn navigation that knows about the cameras, and can talk less - Windshield HUD with your speed, the cameras and the next turn - See any camera at street level before you get there - Works with CarPlay, and there is an Apple Watch app - Motorcycle mode, with audio tuned to be heard through a helmet - Works offline once the data is cached - Dark mode and several appearance options PRIVACY FIRST No data collection. No tracking. No account. Your trips stay on your phone. FREE AND PRO RadarIO is free for 30 minutes a day. Pro removes the limit, with monthly, yearly and one-time lifetime options.
