About
Dear Writer, Thank you for finding your way to Typewriter DT85. In a world of bloated software, we chose a different path. Ideas don’t need complex menus or notifications—they need a quiet space and a responsive keyboard. DT85 is a digital sanctuary where the boundary between thought and text blurs through pure keystrokes. Our philosophy is simple: Never lift your hands from the keyboard. When you open DT85, you face a blank canvas without distracting toolbars. Every function sits right beneath your fingertips: The Command Palette: Press Ctrl + Shift + P to summon your central hub for everything. Absolute Privacy: No cloud storage, no tracking, and no accounts. Everything stays securely on your device. Start your journey with a few familiar chords: Ctrl + N to begin a new chapter. Ctrl + Shift + T to cycle through a theme that fits your mood. CMD + Shift + , to share your work. Ctrl + Shift + H when you need a North Star. We built DT85 for those who write at the speed of thought. Welcome home, where it’s just you and your words. Sincerely, The Typewriter DT85 Team
