BibleSpeak

About

Here is a revised description. It covers the voices and the features added in 1.3.0. I dropped the "new Bible App section" line, since that's no longer new. Bring the Word of God to your ears with BibleSpeak. Speak or type a scripture, then read it or hear it read aloud in a voice you choose, even without an internet connection. BibleSpeak helps you find, hear, and explore the King James Bible in a simple and peaceful way. Remember the full reference, part of a verse, or only a few keywords. BibleSpeak helps you find it. Features • Eight reading voices Choose from eight natural-sounding voices, including four deep voices and several lighter ones. Voices work offline, so you can listen anywhere. Adjust the reading speed, and use the pitch dial to move a deep voice toward a standard pitch. • Speak or type a scripture Say or type a reference like John 3:16, and BibleSpeak finds it. Loose spacing and wording are fine, such as "1 Peter 5:7" or "first Peter chapter 5 verse 7." • Search by words or topic Type a phrase you remember or search by topic. Add Old Testament or New Testament to narrow the results. • Word for Me Today Daily encouragement from Scripture. Add your first name in Settings and the verses that speak to "you" are personalized for you. Your name stays on your phone. • Sermon of the Day Choose a category such as Healing, Faith, Hope, Love, Forgiveness, Marriage, or Righteousness, and hear a short encouraging message. • Scripture of the Day A daily verse by topic, with topics for encouragement, healing, love, forgiveness, righteousness, faith, hope, and more. • Test Your Skills A Bible quiz with 5 to 20 questions. When you finish, take another with fresh questions. • Full KJV Bible browsing Browse by book, chapter, and verse, and keep reading in full chapter context. • Read and listen Read verses on screen or listen to them read aloud. • Share scripture Share verses and encouraging passages with others, with a link back to BibleSpeak. BibleSpeak is made for people who want simple access to Scripture throughout the day: at home, at church, during prayer, in Bible study, or while encouraging family and friends. Easy to reach. Easy to hear. Easy to share.
