Secure Zip & Unzip

About

Secure Zip & Unzip creates password-protected ZIP archives with real AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by 7-Zip, WinZip and WinRAR. iPhone and iPad can zip and unzip files. Neither can put a password on one. That's the gap this app fills. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE No account. No sign-up. No uploads. Your files are encrypted and decrypted entirely on your device. The app never connects to the internet. REAL ENCRYPTION, NOT THE OLD KIND AES-256 in the WinZip AES standard, not the weak legacy ZIP 2.0 password scheme that many apps still use. OPENS ANYWHERE Your archives work with the Files app, macOS Finder, Windows, 7-Zip, WinRAR, WinZip and The Unarchiver, with no special software needed on the other end. ENCRYPT FROM ANY APP Share files from Mail, Photos, Files or anywhere else and protect them without leaving the app you're in. Share a protected ZIP back and it opens straight at the password prompt. BUILT FOR iPHONE AND iPAD A native design that follows the system, with a two-column layout and full windowing on iPad. Browse your archives with real thumbnails and Quick Look preview, import straight from your photo library, and drag and drop files from anywhere. ALSO ON MAC The Mac version adds right-click support in Finder, so you can protect or open an archive without opening the app at all.
