This application offers healthcare professionals and medical students a comprehensive understanding of mechanical ventilation, enhancing their knowledge of patient–ventilator interactions. iVentilate provides a calculator to explore key medical formulas, accompanied by detailed explanations of their underlying principles. The application covers common clinical conditions, including acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), obstructive syndrome, and restrictive syndrome. Pathological cases are illustrated through ventilator screenshots, ranging from basic to advanced interpretation (over 60 screenshots). These annotated visuals help clarify complex concepts and facilitate learning. Major scientific studies are referenced to support the content. Each case is linked to relevant PubMed studies and accompanied by video tutorials. Important Notice: This application is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Rozé, MD, PhD, former head of the Thoracic Intensive Care Unit at Bordeaux University Hospital (France).
