Kinship Calculator+

About

Chinese family titles are famously complicated — every uncle, aunt, cousin and in-law has a specific name, and using the wrong one at a family gathering is embarrassing. Kinship Calculator solves it like a calculator solves math. Simply tap the relationship chain step by step (e.g. Father's Older Brother's Son), press "=", and the app tells you the correct term (堂哥 — older paternal cousin), with the answer localized to your language. KEY FEATURES • Kinship calculator — over 2,000 relationship combinations covering paternal, maternal, direct and in-law relations • Automatic simplification — roundabout chains (Older Brother's Younger Brother's Younger Sister) are reduced automatically (= Younger Sister) • Older/Younger disambiguation — for same-generation relatives, the app asks who's older so you get exactly the right term • Reverse lookup — tap ⇌ to see what the other person should call YOU • Male/Female toggle — terms adjust to your own gender automatically • Text-to-speech — tap the speaker to hear the term pronounced (Cantonese/Mandarin), with an optional auto-speak mode • Calculation history — your last 50 lookups are kept on the device; tap any entry to run it again, or clear them all • Two calculators in one — portrait is the simple everyday keypad; rotate to landscape for the advanced calculator: a wide six-column keypad, one-tap grandparent and grandchild shortcuts, and your recent calculations shown side by side so you never lose your place • Share — send the result to friends and family with one tap • Fully offline — every lookup happens on your device; fast, private, and no internet required LANGUAGES Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.
