About

A watch complication for people who love science. Science O'Clock expresses the time with scientific numbers and a simple adjustment. Open the app for the mathematics immediately below the expression, then scroll into the science behind it. A DIFFERENT WAY TO READ THE TIME Pi’s first digits can be read as 3:14. Add six minutes, and the expression represents 3:20. Follow the concise formula, with values displayed to at most five decimal places and the answer at the end. 26 LESSONS. SIX FIELDS. Explore mathematics, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, wind engineering and astronomy. Read what each idea means, see an example, and explore the constants themselves. Choose Explore the science to browse the library, with large symbols and precise values. MADE FOR YOUR WATCH Use a circular or rectangular complication on a compatible watch face. For a large central expression, choose the X-Large face. Science O'Clock is an app and complication, not a replacement watch face. It runs on Apple Watch without an iPhone companion app. FOLLOW THE TIME. EXPLORE THE SCIENCE. The main calculation follows the current time, updating each minute and when you wake the app. Library pages show the scientific constants independently of the clock; worked examples stay fixed so you can read at your own pace.
