Reciter photos are now yours to choose Settings → Reciters has a new switch, "Show reciter photos", and it is OFF by default. Until you turn it on, every reciter appears as their initials — in the reader, the Mushaf, the player and the picker — and no portrait is downloaded at all. Fixed • Rotating your device keeps your place. Turning the phone no longer carries you back towards the start of the Mushaf, and turning it back returns you to where you were reading. • Listening now opens every surah with the Bismillah, recited in your own reciter's voice (except Al-Fatihah, where it is the first ayah, and At-Tawbah, which has none). • The iPad reader follows the device again, instead of showing iPhone-sized controls over a stretched page. • Subscription prices and terms on the upgrade screen now come straight from the App Store, and the Terms link opens the Terms of Use. Jazakum Allahu khayran for your reviews — the rotation bug came from one of them.
