OnTheFloor

About

This app makes final round practice really easy. You just tell it where your dance music is and how you want the final rounds to be played (e.g. dance and break lengths, dance order, number of rounds, etc.) and that's it. Afterwards, you can start final rounds with random music within seconds. Forget about manually changing tracks and checking your watch all the time. With OnTheFloor, you can focus on what's important: practicing. Features: - Simple final round setup - Support for both International and American style - Music selection via playlists, albums and genres (combinations possible) - Selectable dance and break length - Competition mode (manual start of the next dance instead of fixed break length) - Adjustable final round composition (selection and order of dances) - Optional playback of additional tracks during breaks in final rounds (e.g. to simulate announcements of the tournament director) - Optional acoustic signals at certain times during playback and in breaks - Optional skipping of the beginning of tracks - Save and load different final rounds (incl. all settings) - Start final rounds within seconds (2 taps) - Random music playback, every final round is different - Big display of the remaining dance or break time - Gesture control during playback (Tap for Pause/Play, Swipe to skip) - Additional player for infinite random playback of a particular dance or single track playback - Automatic loudness normalization (with optional manual correction) - Automatic and manual tempo adjustment - Tempo and rating filters for track selection - Manual tempo measurement and rating of tracks within the app - Export of tempo information and ratings via email - Final round log with export functionality via email - Optional protection of various settings with an arbitrary numeric code - Universal app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Full usage of the big iPad screen in both portrait and landscape mode - Portrait „upside-down“ mode also for iPhone (for better accessibility of the connectors)
