FrameChem is a private journal for film photography and darkroom work. Keep each roll, each exposure, and each processing session together on this device. Rolls Record a roll and follow it from the camera to the archive. Stock, format, and shooting progress stay with that roll. Shoot Log one frame at a time: aperture, shutter, ISO, and exposure compensation. FrameChem can show the exposure value from the numbers you enter. It does not meter a scene, connect to a camera, or decide the exposure for you. A later correction keeps the original reading, the revised reading, the reason, and the time. Darkroom Write your own process and the time for each stage. A stage cannot be started from an unverified placeholder. The timer uses the saved end time, so leaving the app does not reset it. When you allow notifications, FrameChem can alert you at the planned end of a stage and at agitation marks you set. Mix calculator results come only from the volumes and ratios you type. They are not a recommendation for any film or developer. Archive Import scans from Files or your photo library and attach them to a roll, frame, and exposure. A frame without a scan stays marked as having no scan. Export a PDF, a CSV file, or a JSON backup that includes the scan files you stored. Restore a backup onto this device later. Your data Rolls, exposures, timers, temperatures, and scans stay in the app. No account is required. FrameChem does not post photos or diagnose a negative. Notes, times, and mix amounts are your own records. They are not instructions for handling chemicals, and they do not guarantee a result.
