READ TEXT ALOUD Enter text or open TXT, Markdown, HTML, EPUB, and Word (DOCX) files. The app detects Japanese and English text and switches between your selected Apple voices. TURN PDFS INTO READABLE TEXT Use OCR to convert PDF pages into text. Choose vertical or horizontal text, adjust the recognition area, and select a page range. Save converted text to read again later. OCR results may contain recognition or reading-order errors. LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG Play audio files and audiobooks. With compatible audio EPUBs, text highlights as the recording plays. Tap a passage to listen from that point. Synchronized text and audio require an EPUB with media overlays.
