Nectary - Reading Notes

About

Nectary is a home for everything you take from a book. Every book you add gets its own thread. As you read, add notes to it the way you'd send a message: a quote that stopped you, a thought it sparked, something you learned, a question you want to come back to. Each note is marked with its kind, and with its page if you add one, so a book's thread becomes a record of how you read it. Then step back and look across all your books. Filter your notes by kind to see every quote you've saved, every lesson you've learned, or every question you've asked — no matter which book it came from. FEATURES • Find books fast — search by title or author, or scan the ISBN barcode. Can't find it? Add it manually. • A thread for every book — quotes, thoughts, lessons, and questions, each with an optional page number. • Pin the notes that matter most to the top of a book's thread. • All your notes in one place — search them, and filter by kind across every book. • Track your reading — Want to Read, Reading, and Finished, with page progress and a 5-star rating. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. Your books and notes are stored only on your iPhone. WHY "NECTARY"? Nearly two thousand years ago, the Roman philosopher Seneca wrote that we should read like bees: gather from many flowers, sort what we've gathered, and turn it into honey of our own. Nectary is a place for that work. Book data and covers come from Open Library.
