About
Less scrolling. More living. Mimo helps you put your phone down for the moments that matter: a slow morning, an hour of deep work, the gym, dinner with the people you love, winding down before bed. Each one is a Presence Mode. Start it from the app, a widget or a schedule, and set the phone aside. A LITTLE CAT THAT GROWS WITH YOUR TIME AWAY Mimo is a small pixel cat who keeps you company. Finished modes earn XP and Sparks, and Mimo grows from kitten to young cat to adult. Grown-up Mimo takes on a nature from the modes you use most: a Heartkeeper from Family Time, a Dreamer from Wind Down, a Deep Thinker from focused work, or a mix of two. Nothing is earned by opening the app, and nothing ever takes XP away. QUIET THE APPS THAT PULL YOU BACK With Screen Time access, each mode can quiet the apps you choose in Apple's own picker. While it runs, those apps show a calm screen with a single Close button. When the mode ends, they come back on their own, even if Mimo is closed. There is always an exit: End is one tap, and "Restore all access" lifts everything at once. Without Screen Time access, modes still work as gentle reminders. BORING ON PURPOSE During a mode, Mimo shows a dim screen, a calm cat and the time. No feed, no stats, no streaks. When you come back, Mimo celebrates with you and asks, only if you like, how it felt. STARTS WHERE YOUR DAY IS • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that start a mode with one tap • A Live Activity and Dynamic Island countdown • Schedules that start a mode on their own, like Family Time at 6 PM • Tiny quests with no deadlines, and cosmetic things for Mimo bought with Sparks WARM, NEVER GUILTY No streaks to break, no sad cat, no "you missed". Quiet days simply don't count. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no analytics and no network at all. Mimo never sees which apps you use: iOS only tells it how many you picked. Everything stays on your iPhone. Present time is the time you spend inside Presence Modes. It shows your intentions, not a measure of how little you used your phone.
What's new · 1.0.1
A scheduled mode now stops when you stop it. Ending a scheduled routine, or tapping Restore all access, brings your apps back and they stay back. Easier to read everywhere, especially with larger text sizes: every label stays whole, rows give long names room, and cards line up and centre neatly.
