Foldy 3D turns 3D models into papercraft you build with your own hands. Pick a model, print its paper template at true size on your home printer, then cut, fold and glue it into a real 3D paper model, step by step. Handmade crafts make a relaxing new hobby to enjoy on your own or as a family project. HOW IT WORKS ▸ Pick a model. Browse the catalog, spin any model in 3D and choose how tall you want it. ▸ Print. Foldy 3D unfolds the model into flat paper pieces with glue tabs, numbered seams and fold lines, and creates a PDF that prints at true size (1:1) on Letter or A4 paper. ▸ Cut, fold and glue. The build guide walks you through every piece: cut it out, watch the fold in a 3D animation, glue the tabs and attach the piece to your model. WHAT'S INSIDE ● True-size printing on Letter or A4, so every piece fits the next one. ● Color printing on one side or both. With one-sided printing, seam numbers sit on the glue tabs and fold lines are a shade darker or lighter than the face, so the model looks clean; with two-sided printing, the full-color design goes on the front, and fold lines and numbers go on the back. ● Two-sided printing works with a duplex printer, or you can flip the stack and feed it through again by hand. ● A printer check page with a 100 mm square shows whether your printer scales the page, and an alignment page helps the two sides line up. ● A step-by-step 3D build guide with animated folds. ● Your progress is saved, so you can build a model over several sessions. THE CATALOG Start with the Retro Rocket, the Jack-o'-Lantern and the Bat: all three are free. The Skull, an anatomy model, comes with Foldy 3D Pro. No 3D printer required. ● The catalog downloads over the internet the first time you open it. ● Browsing the catalog, spinning models in 3D and choosing a size are free for everyone. SUBSCRIPTION Foldy 3D Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks printing and building of premium models. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
