About

Home automations you can read, test and trust. Zoxobit is built on Apple Home (HomeKit), with no server and no account. RULES THAT READ LIKE SENTENCES "When the hall sensor sees motion after sunset, turn on the lamp, and put it back after 10 minutes." Zoxobit saves that as an ordinary HomeKit automation, so your home hub runs it even when your iPhone is away or off. It shows up in Apple's Home app too. SAYS WHEN IT CAN'T A home hub can't send a notification or wait between steps. Rules that do are run by Zoxobit itself while it's open, and the editor tells you so. A rule never silently does nothing. With the free Zoxobit Helper on a computer at home, the hub runs those waits and notifications too. WHAT IT DOES • Try a rule against a made-up evening, alongside your other rules, without changing anything in your home • See why a rule didn't run: the trigger it's waiting for and the condition stopping it • Warnings when two rules fight over a light or keep setting each other off • Every version of a rule, with undo, and deleted rules you can bring back • Edit automations you made in the Home app • A reminder when a door or window is left open, cancelled when it closes • Slow Philips Hue fades through the free Zoxobit Helper, with a progress bar and time left while one runs • Snapshot and Restore: save your rules, their history and settings to a file, and bring them back • Weekdays, dates, sunrise and sunset, turning things back off after a while, arriving home or reaching a place • HomeKit buttons, colour lights, blinds, garage doors, thermostats, fans, sprinklers, sensors and security systems • Siri and Shortcuts • Suggestions for what your home has, and away lights that make the house look lived in • Home health: an offline hub, accessories not responding, low batteries • Describe a rule in your own words and Apple's on-device model drafts it (iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence), or Claude or ChatGPT with your own API key or ChatGPT plan, only if you turn that on • Share rules as files, and keep them the same on your devices with iCloud sync if you turn it on WHAT YOU NEED An iPhone or iPad on iOS 18 or later, a home set up in Apple's Home app with accessories, and a home hub (Apple TV or HomePod) for rules that run while you're away. No server, no account, no ads, no analytics. Your home data goes between the app and HomeKit and nowhere else, unless you turn on drafting with Claude or ChatGPT.
