A little tune. A better sound. Choose a tuning, pluck a string, and follow the dial toward the center. cTuner offers a calm, clear workspace for your instrument. Auto identifies the closest string in your selected tuning. Manual locks to the string you tap. Chromatic finds the nearest of all twelve notes. You turn the tuning pegs; cTuner shows the pitch, frequency, and cents difference. Explore 27 presets for guitar, ukulele, violin, bass, viola, cello, mandolin, and banjo. Guitar options include Standard, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Open E, lower tunings, and 7-, 8-, and 12-string setups. Choose high-G, low-G, or baritone ukulele. Create personal tunings with up to twelve strings. Listen through the built-in microphone or a compatible wired or USB audio interface. Select an available input. Multi-channel interfaces use channel 1. Play a reference note to tune by ear. Adjust A4 concert pitch from 430 to 450 Hz and in-tune tolerance from 1 to 10 cents. Enable haptic feedback and keep the screen awake while tuning. Responsive portrait and landscape layouts fit iPhone and iPad and adapt to window resizing. Choose Light, Dark, or Auto appearance. Available in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese, with translated help and VoiceOver feedback. Audio is analyzed on your device and is never saved or uploaded. No accounts, ads, subscriptions, or tracking. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Designed for single-note tuning.
