Pier is a native app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that shows and drives the coding agents — like Claude Code and Codex — running on your own development machines. Agents ask; you answer in a tap, from anywhere. EVERY AGENT, LIVE • A Home with who needs you, who is working and whose turn it is, plus pull requests, CI failures, git activity and running dev servers. • A board with every agent by its state. ANSWER ANYTHING • Permission prompts, multiple-choice questions and plan approvals become buttons. • Every answer waits two seconds with Undo. • An Inbox with every agent's questions and finished work; on a keyboard, 1, 2, 3 to answer. TALK • Say or type what you need: Pier picks the agent already on that work, or starts a new task, and shows you before it sends. REVIEW AND SHIP • Each session's conversation, with diffs, background jobs and the terminal one tap away. • Changes, commit, push and a pull request with an AI-written message; checks, reviews and merge in a full pull request screen. • On iPad and Mac, a workspace per project: the file tree, a simple editor, the git history and the changes. MADE FOR EACH DEVICE • Tabs on iPhone; a sidebar, the ⌘K palette and keyboard shortcuts on iPad and Mac. • On the Mac, a narrow tab on the edge of the screen that opens into the Inbox, the agents and a new task, over any app. • Widgets, light and dark. YOUR MACHINES, YOUR KEYS Pier talks to pierd, a small open-source server that runs on a Linux server or on your own Mac and installs with one command. The app and the machine pair once (on the Mac by themselves; on iPhone and iPad with a QR code) and then talk directly over mutual TLS: no account, no server of ours in between. Your code, prompts and conversations stay on your machines. With Pier open on a Mac, alerts reach your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud, with nothing to set up. No machine ready yet?
