You start alone in a small room with a few kids and, day after day, turn it into a busy daycare full of rooms, toys and staff. A DAY AT THE DAYCARE • Greet parents at the front desk and check the kids in • Change diapers, make bottles and get everyone down for a nap • Take the hungry kids to lunch in the dining room • At pickup, hand each child to the right grown-up and collect the fee, with the right change • At the end of the day, check the summary: money, parent stars and what's coming next GROW YOUR DAYCARE • Use the fees to pay the bills and buy upgrades • Open new rooms: dining room, playground, playroom, music room, sensory room and more • Buy furniture and toys and decorate every room your way • Hire caregivers and staff to share the work as the daycare fills up A LITTLE CHAOS NOW AND THEN The kids are adorable, but they don't make it easy: tantrums, a surprise pee during a diaper change, a child hiding in the most unlikely place and a little gang that only wants to escape through the door.
