ArtTransit: Artwork Ledger

About

Give every artwork a continuous record—from a studio observation to a handover, receipt and return. ArtTransit helps independent registrars, installers and collectors keep artwork identity, condition and custody together on iPhone and iPad, with a concise Apple Watch companion. NO ACCOUNT TO CREATE Your artwork ledger stays on this device, and core recordkeeping works offline. Use portable backups to keep a copy. Purchases and optional rewarded ads require network services. RECORD THE WORK Create a unique inventory identifier, add a photograph and record known dimensions, medium, artist, location and custodian. Leave unknown measurements blank. Correct identity details and replace catalog photographs while retaining the earlier record. FOLLOW CONDITION AND CUSTODY Add dated observations with photographs and source references. Plan a movement, document the handover, confirm receipt and review the return. Record discrepancies and their resolutions before reconciling a return. PRESERVE A REVISION Issue an artwork dossier as a PDF. Reopen a saved revision after later edits. Private notes are excluded from basic dossiers; always review other text and photographs before sharing. Portable backups include the full ledger and linked photos. WORK IN THE STUDIO Create measured placement sheets with boundary and overlap checks. Keep framing options, sources and review decisions together. Record edition allocations and document-replacement history against the physical artwork. A GLANCE ON APPLE WATCH Opt in to share a small movement summary with your paired Watch. See the last synced location and return date, then continue on iPhone to review the full record. Changes to custody are made in the full app. USEFUL FREE ACCESS Free includes 10 artworks, condition and custody records, corrections and basic dossier exports. Optional completed rewarded ads can add an artwork slot on the current device. Your existing records and basic exports never require an ad. ARTTRANSIT PRO Pro unlocks unlimited artwork capacity, batch dossier packets and an ad-free experience. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase. Localized prices and any eligible free trial are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account; manage or cancel subscriptions in account settings. Existing saved records and issued packets remain accessible when Pro ends. Restore purchases using the same Apple account. Designed for light and dark appearances, with optional touch feedback and motion that respects Reduce Motion. ArtTransit organizes user-supplied records. It does not authenticate artwork, determine value, provide conservation advice or guarantee structural installation safety.
