About
A company reports a profit, but its cash is shrinking. A cheap acquisition needs more funding than expected. A fund grows – but is that investment performance or new investor money? Due Diligence Club is an economic strategy game on a retro computer desktop. Read simplified income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. Compare several years, highlight suspicious figures and decide what to do. The outcome explains which clues mattered. Six roles, different decisions: • Entrepreneur: Review and negotiate acquisitions. Build a group over 60 game years while managing loans, dividends and liquidity. • Fund Manager: Allocate capital over 50 years in quarterly turns. Investor demand, your mandate and peer-fund performance affect inflows and withdrawals. • Hedge Fund Manager: Trade monthly over ten years. Long and short positions, leverage and catalysts create opportunities, but also trading costs and margin risk. • Tax Auditor: Find discrepancies in the evidence and set the tax assessment. Follow a career or work against the clock in a shift challenge. • Turnaround Advisor: Allocate budgets over twelve quarters. Match measures to capacity and funding, and account for their delayed effects. • Restructuring Lead: Compare going concern with liquidation. Negotiate a plan that creditors support and the business can fund. 15 industries and 21 world regions bring different conditions. News, market saturation, research and company events provide clues, not guaranteed returns. Statistics track your results. Game Center offers separate leaderboards and achievements. Optional iCloud backup requires Game Center and iCloud Drive. Try it free: five Entrepreneur demo runs of ten game years each, plus replayable guided tutorials. Tutorials use fixed examples and do not count toward leaderboards or achievements. One purchase unlocks all full role runs. No subscription. No ads. Your demo save is kept; start a new full run to qualify for rankings. All companies, markets and monetary amounts are simulated. Simplified game rules are not investment, tax or legal advice.
