ShiftCap: Student Work Hours

About

Can you take that extra shift? Know in seconds. ShiftCap is the work-hours tracker built for international students. Log your shifts and see exactly how many hours you have left under your student visa work limit, before you say yes to more work. Going over your limit can put your visa at risk. ShiftCap helps you stay under it. BUILT FOR 21 STUDY COUNTRIES • US: 20 hours a week on campus during term (F-1) • Canada: 24 hours a week off campus during term • UK: 20 hours a week in term time (10 below degree level) • Australia: 48 hours a fortnight while your course is in session • Germany: 140 full days or 280 half days a year • Japan: 28 hours in any 7 days • Plus New Zealand, Ireland, the Netherlands, Singapore, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, South Korea, Malaysia and China Use it as your student timesheet, shift log and work hours calculator for any part-time job while you study abroad. LOG A SHIFT IN SECONDS Start a timer when your shift starts, repeat your usual shift with one tap, or enter it by hand. Delivery and rideshare work counts too: log the paid time from your earnings screen. ALWAYS KNOW WHAT'S LEFT Your week, fortnight, month or year at a glance, whichever your country counts: hours worked, hours planned and hours left. Term breaks, national holidays and overnight shifts are handled for you. PLAN BEFORE YOU SAY YES Add shifts from your schedule and ShiftCap warns you before a planned shift would take you over your limit. A CLEAN RECORD WHEN YOU NEED IT Export your hours as a PDF or CSV for a visa renewal or status application, or if an officer asks. Attach payslips and earnings screenshots to your shifts. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, and it works offline. Your shifts and payslips stay on your phone, locked with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Make it yours with 7 color themes, in light or dark mode. ShiftCap helps you keep records. It isn't immigration advice. For advice about your situation, talk to a licensed adviser. ShiftCap isn't affiliated with any government or immigration authority.
