Swiss Boat Exam

About

SwissBoat Study is built directly from the legal texts behind the exam (the Binnenschifffahrtsverordnung and the special-waters agreements for Lake Constance, Lake Geneva, the Rhine near Basel, and Lago Maggiore / Lago di Lugano). Every question cites its real legal basis, in every language, so you always know exactly where an answer comes from. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Practice by topic — right of way, buoyage & signals, safety equipment, speed & zones, licensing, weather, knots & seamanship, and environment & noise • Study federal rules, or add special-waters rules for the lakes and rivers that carry their own extra requirements • Sit a full mock exam — 60 random questions, 50 minutes on the clock, 75% to pass, just like the real thing • Review "My weak points" — a shortcut back to the questions you've recently gotten wrong, until you get them right • Track your accuracy by topic and see your quiz history at a glance • Switch between English, German, French and Italian instantly from the home screen WORKS ANYWHERE No sign-in and no account. Every question, image, and diagram is bundled in the app, so it works with no internet connection at all — study on the boat, on the train, or anywhere the signal drops. Your progress stays on your device. AN INDEPENDENT STUDY AID SwissBoat Study is not an official app and is not affiliated with any cantonal shipping authority (Schifffahrtsamt) or the VKS. It doesn't reproduce their proprietary question catalog — every question here is original content written to test the same public regulations. Always confirm current rules with your cantonal authority before your exam. Source: https://www.fedlex.admin.ch/eli/cc/1979/337_337_337/
