Folucent

About

Folucent is a PDF reader for thoughtful reading and learning on iPad and iPhone. Keep the original text at the center while you explore ideas and write down what you understand. READ WITH FOCUS Open your PDFs, browse your library, search within documents, and continue from your saved reading position. Connect folders from Files or iCloud Drive and read downloaded documents offline. Choose a light or dark interface while preserving the original PDF colors. LEARN FROM THE SOURCE Select a passage or use the current page to explain an idea, translate text, or test your understanding. Keep the source and page reference nearby so you can check the original text. AI answers are separate from the document and may contain mistakes. KEEP YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING Save and edit notes, retain source references, and return to the relevant page. Annotate documents and build a reading workflow that you can pick up again later. APPLE AI, YOUR CHOICE Choose supported on-device Apple AI or Private Cloud Compute in Settings. AI features depend on compatible hardware, system language, model availability, and Apple service availability. Private Cloud Compute requires a network connection. Reading and notes remain available when AI is unavailable. START READING An included Folucent User Guide helps you explore the app. Bring your own PDFs from Files to make the library yours. No account or custom API key is required. Requires iOS or iPadOS 27 or later. The initial interface and learning workflow are optimized for English.
