Learn to read piano notes by playing a game. In Staff Quest, notes scroll across the staff toward a gold line. Tap the matching piano key just as each note lands. Early stages show the note names to help you along, then the names fade away as you get faster, until you are simply reading the music. HOW IT WORKS • Notes scroll in, one beat at a time • Tap the matching key as the note reaches the gold line • Earn stars to unlock new notes, faster tempos and songs • Miss a note and the right key lights up, so every slip teaches you something TWO CLEFS, ONE QUEST Start with treble, bass, or both. The two paths run side by side and meet at the grand staff, then lead on to sharps and flats. Already read music? Tap any locked stage and take its test to skip ahead. SONGS YOU ALREADY KNOW Play 24 songs, from nursery rhymes to Beethoven. Hide the note names, shrink the keyboard or speed things up, and each setting raises the difficulty from Easy to Expert. Your stars are kept for every level. ARCADE The tempo keeps climbing and the notes keep coming. Every run has a short code, so a friend can play the exact same notes and try to beat your score. LESSONS WHEN YOU NEED THEM The first time you meet the staff, middle C, the bass clef or a sharp, a short pictured lesson explains it. Then you are straight back to playing. STAY ON A ROLL Hit a small daily goal to keep your streak burning. Level up to unlock new piano sounds, including a music box, an electric piano and a marimba.
