DearDream: Dream Journal

About

DearDream is a dream journal that reads your dreams with you. Tell her your dream the moment you wake, out loud or in writing. DearDream keeps it in your own words, then reads it: what it may be saying, why it may come now, and one question to carry into your day. TELL IT BEFORE IT FADES Dreams slip away within minutes. Tap the microphone and speak, still half asleep, and DearDream writes it down for you. Or type it, the way it comes back. A READING, NEVER A VERDICT Each reading is pinned to images you actually described, underlined in your own words. You get a calm one-line reading, a few possible meanings, gentle ideas for today and a question back to you. Every reading is a lead to reflect on, never a diagnosis. EVERY NIGHT, PAINTED DearDream pictures each dream with a watercolor from her painted library, and gives each night a painted flower in your lunar almanac, colored by the feeling it carried: anxiety, joy, nostalgia, longing or mystery. Missed a morning? Touch that night and tell it later. YOUR SYMBOLS AND THREADS Water, a door, the house you grew up in. DearDream notices the symbols that return, links each dream to the ones around it and shows the threads running through your month. TALK IT THROUGH Answer DearDream's question or ask your own. She remembers your past dreams, so the conversation picks up where your nights left off. Write your answer, or simply say it. LUCID AND RECURRING DearDream notices when you knew you were dreaming and when a dream comes back. Find your lucid and recurring dreams in one tap. YOUR MONTH, TOLD BACK TO YOU Keep three dreams in a month and DearDream tells it back to you: your feelings, your symbols, your lucid nights. Share it as a story if you wish. FOR MORNINGS AND NIGHTS A soft dawn theme and a deep night theme, or let your phone decide. In English, French and Hebrew, and DearDream writes to you in your language.
