TopoGrid Trainer — a training app Learn the basics of map reading and work with UTM and MGRS coordinates through structured lessons and practical exercises. Practise identifying grid references, plotting positions, measuring distances, and working with azimuths. Use training maps and tools such as a compass and ruler to build your skills step by step. The app is an educational aid and digital textbook for independent practice. Some exercises are designed to encourage practice with a real map. The app may use your device location in the “My Position” training module. Location and coordinate information may be inaccurate. TopoGrid Trainer is not a navigation system and should not be relied upon for navigation, safety-critical activities, or emergencies.
