Traveling and can't read the menu? Menu Translator lets you understand every dish with a single photo — then show your order straight to the staff. SNAP THE MENU, KNOW EVERY DISH • Take a photo or pick one from your library — AI reads and translates it • Every dish shows its translated name, original name, a short description, and the price • Turn on Allergen Alerts (off by default) and pick what to avoid, such as shellfish, peanuts, pork, alcohol, or spicy food. Dishes that may contain them are flagged • Scan multi-page menus in one go: start ordering as soon as the first page is ready while the rest translate in the background SHOW YOUR ORDER TO THE STAFF • Add dishes with one tap and see the total • "Show to Staff" displays your order in big text in the menu's language, with a polite ordering phrase • The screen stays on so the staff can read it TALK WITH THE STAFF BY VOICE • The staff speaks their language — you see it in yours • You speak yours — it appears in theirs in large text and is read aloud • Speech recognition runs on your device MANY LANGUAGES • App and translation languages: English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português (follows your app language) • Translates menus in Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, European languages, and more PRIVACY • No account needed. The developer never collects your photos, voice, or orders • AI translation uses Apple Private Cloud Compute — data is used only to translate and is not stored GOOD TO KNOW • Full AI translation (with dish descriptions) requires iOS 27 and a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with a daily usage limit. Otherwise the app uses basic translation, which translates dish names only, and Allergen Alerts are guessed from dish names alone • Contains ads. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase removes them forever • AI translations may contain errors. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, always confirm the ingredients with the staff
