Keep your TV controls close at hand. Serein connects your iPhone or iPad to compatible TVs over your home network. Compatible local-network systems: VIZIO SmartCast, Google TV / Android TV, Roku, Fire TV, and Hisense VIDAA. Support varies by model and firmware; soundbars and IR-only TVs are not supported. Use the same network, allow Local Network access, and enter the TV's pairing code when requested. Roku may require enabling control by mobile apps. Navigation, volume, power, inputs, playback, app shortcuts, and phone typing are available where supported by the connected TV. Save multiple TVs, customize your remote, and use widgets, Shortcuts, large buttons, themes, and sleep timers. Keyboard and voice support depend on the TV and focused field. SmartCast typing is limited to compatible search fields; YouTube search opens search results. App shortcuts open apps without guaranteeing video playback. Casting needs a compatible media receiver. Turning a TV on needs reachable network standby; Fire TV power control is unavailable. Discovery and pairing are free, with a limited allowance of remote commands. Unlimited remote control and premium tools require Pro. An auto-renewing weekly or annual subscription unlocks Pro. Prices, billing periods, any eligible trial, and renewal terms appear before purchase. Apple charges your account; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases is available. No app account is required. TV commands use your local network; pairing credentials are stored in Keychain.
