About
Cut plans that know what is really in your stock pile. CutBench lays out plywood, MDF and lumber parts with your real saw kerf and grain, checks every plan before you see it, then keeps track of each sheet, board and measured offcut as you cut. Pay once and the whole toolkit is yours, with no subscription and no ads. PLAN WITH EXACT NUMBERS • Type sizes in millimetres, decimals or inches with fractions. CutBench stores exactly what you entered, so rounding never changes a part. • Sheet layouts for plywood, MDF and other panels, plus straight-length plans for boards, rails and trim. • Set kerf, edge trims, grain direction and which parts may rotate. • Every sheet plan is a sequence of straight, edge-to-edge cuts, checked independently before it is shown. • Compare candidates that favour using up scrap or spending less on new material, with new cash kept apart from the value of stock you already hold. KNOW EVERY PIECE IN THE SHOP • Each sheet, board and offcut gets its own record, with an optional photo and storage spot. • Reserve pieces for one job so another project can't plan around the same board. • Make QR labels for your stock, then scan one to pull up that piece. • Suggested new material stays a purchase proposal until you receive and measure it. CUT, MEASURE, REPLAN • Step through the cut tree in a workshop view with large controls. • Confirm each real cut and record what you measured. • Keep useful offcuts as stock, and replan unfinished parts against the material that is really left. • Cut history stays on record, so you can trace where every piece came from. EXPORT AND BACK UP • Plan PDFs, part lists as CSV, cut-history CSV and stock labels. • A private workspace backup, saved wherever you choose. • Planning and inventory run on your phone, with nothing to sign in to. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO CutBench handles rectangular sheet parts and straight board lengths. Its search runs within time limits, so a plan is the best one found rather than proof of the least possible waste. Diagrams are schematic, not full-size templates, and CutBench does not control any machine.
