Estudio de Piano is a piano technique notebook: the classic public-domain exercises and études, with a score that listens to you and guided practice that tells you what to do next. CONNECT YOUR PIANO • MIDI keyboard over USB or Bluetooth: every note with its exact timing. The app switches to MIDI as soon as you connect it. • Acoustic piano? Use the microphone. On-device polyphonic analysis recognises what you play, chords included, with automatic gain for soft pianos. • Every key you play lights up on the on-screen keyboard. GUIDED PRACTICE IN THREE LEVELS • Learn: the score waits on every note until you play it right. • Practise: in tempo, retrying the passage that fails. • Perform: a full take, graded, with medals. • Suggested tempos for every level and every exercise. • Fingering on every note: the composer's where it exists, a suggested one otherwise. • Bar ranges with repeats, to listen and to practise. IT CORRECTS YOU AS YOU PLAY • The score is coloured live: correct, early or late, wrong note or missed. • It follows your position even if you repeat or skip a bar. AND EXPLAINS THE TAKE • Score from 0 to 100, note accuracy, rhythmic accuracy, tempo stability and dynamic evenness. • Per-bar heat map and the next passage worth going over. PRACTISE WITH A METHOD • Precise metronome with count-in and progressive tempo: it only speeds up when you play cleanly. • Transposition to all 12 keys, hands separately and bar loops. • Progress, daily streak and best clean tempo per exercise and key. THE REPERTOIRE Hanon (all three parts, scales and arpeggios in every key), Schmitt, Pischna, Brahms, Czerny (Op. 299 and 740), Burgmüller (Op. 100 and 109), Clementi, Bertini, Heller, Chopin (Op. 10 and 25), Liszt and Moszkowski. All works are in the public domain and transcribed into our own format; each exercise shows its source. Pieces still being verified or transcribed are marked.
