Massfield Value Studies

About

Massfield is a focused value-study workbench for painters and illustrators. Choose a photograph from your Photos library or try the included courtyard reference. Compare the original and a reduced-value study, then adjust the light shift, crop and inversion until the large shapes read clearly. Switch between two, three and four tonal values. Save named studies on your device so you can return to each reference and its settings. Make a real one-page PDF study sheet with the original beside all three value reductions, or share the selected value image as a PNG. Massfield is for studying composition, not for photo enhancement or calibrated printing. Inspect the source and exported page before painting. Your images and settings stay on your device unless you choose to share an export. One purchase. No account, subscription, ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync or developer-operated upload.
