HomeRounds: Home Maintenance

About

Your house is probably the most expensive thing you own. HomeRounds helps you take care of it in just a few minutes a month. Answer a few quick questions about your home. HomeRounds builds a personalized maintenance plan and reminds you when each task is due. You won't have to remember when you last changed the air filter or tested the smoke alarms. WRITTEN BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN Every task comes with plain-English instructions: why it matters, how long it takes, what to do step by step, and when it's time to call a pro. HomeRounds was built by a licensed electrician who has seen what happens when small things get skipped. A PLAN FOR YOUR HOUSE • Only the tasks that apply to your home: gutters, fireplace, pool, septic, sprinklers, sump pump, generator and more • Older homes get extra electrical safety checks • Seasonal tasks show up at the right time of year, like winterizing faucets in the fall and cleaning the AC unit in spring • Tasks are spaced out so you're never overwhelmed REMINDERS THAT WORK • A gentle notification when something is due • Choose your reminder time • Snooze anything for a day, a week or a month • Change how often any task repeats 55 BUILT-IN TASKS, INCLUDING • Test smoke & CO alarms • Test GFCI outlets and AFCI breakers • Change the HVAC filter • Flush the water heater • Clean the dryer vent (a leading cause of house fires) • Check under sinks for leaks • Clean the gutters • …plus add your own custom tasks A MAINTENANCE RECORD Every task you check off is saved.
