From Nothing: Life Story

About

You do not control a character moment by moment. You make the decisions that shape an entire life. From Nothing is an offline narrative strategy game where small moments keep moving long after they happen. Return a family voicemail. Take a risky job. Step into a public mess. Get caught in the rain, spill coffee before a meeting, miss the bus, send a message to the wrong group, or wake to an alarm after midnight. Ordinary problems can change the work you do and the people who trust you. Every day connects to what came before: - Make consequential choices and see each scene play out - Create and edit a personal avatar - Manage cash, energy, health, reputation, heat, and skill - Spend a visible 24-hour budget on training, study, work, and recovery - Buy apartment upgrades, vehicles, and property - Unlock travel across six destinations - Build toward fourteen regular and specialist careers - Renovate homes, move in, or complete house flips - Inspect every stat and learned value - Build trust with family, friends, and neighbors - Navigate a connected discrimination storyline - Reject crime or face robbery, drug dealing, extortion, arrest, lawyers, court, fines, jail, and release - Follow a complete 61-day story through four districts and a citywide finale - Continue open-ended free play after the plot ends without buying an addon - Optionally add six branching campaigns with permanent new systems - Review your history and learn why each event appeared The story adapts locally to the values and themes in your decisions.
