Lucentra helps you find the words inside PDFs that were saved as page images. Import an existing PDF from Files. On-device text recognition reads pages without selectable text, while pages that already contain text stay in the same document. Review each page beside the original scan, correct recognized text where needed, then create a named searchable PDF. You can also export a plain-text companion file. The original imported PDF is kept unchanged, and projects and corrections remain on this device until you delete them. Lucentra works with existing PDFs. It does not take camera scans, translate documents, reconstruct complex columns, or guarantee recognition of handwriting or faint pages. Some password-protected or damaged PDFs cannot be processed. Exports are saved locally and shared only when you choose the system share action. No account, subscription, ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or developer-server upload.
