About
Alphabit teaches children aged 3 to 5 the sounds of the alphabet, the way British nurseries and reception classes do. Bit, a friendly glassy mascot, says every task out loud, so nothing needs reading — and nobody can lose: a wrong tap just gives a little wobble and a gentle "Try again!" SOUNDS FIRST Letters come in small groups — s, a, t, p first — and each one is taught by its sound ("s says sss"), not its name. All 26 letters in seven groups, lowercase first, with q paired as "qu" just like at school. SIX LITTLE GAMES • Meet the letter — Bit says its sound and its words while the pictures light up • Listen and find — hear a sound, tap the right letter • What does it start with? — see a picture, tap the first letter • Pop the bubbles — letters float up; pop the ones that make the sound Bit names • Trace it — follow the letter with a finger, starting at the green dot • Baskets — drag each picture into the basket of its first sound 52 PICTURES FOR LITTLE HANDS Every letter has two picture words — sun, snake, apple, ant, tiger, tent and more — drawn in a soft, glassy style and big enough for small fingers. Finish a lesson and win a sticker for the album: 52 to collect. SHORT AND GENTLE • 33 lessons of about three minutes each, five or six tasks apiece • Big buttons, no timers, no scores, no lives • Tap Bit and he says the task again FOR GROWN-UPS • A grown-up question keeps little fingers out of the settings; there you can see which letters are known • No ads, no purchases, no accounts — we collect no data at all, progress stays on the device, and it works offline • Bit's voice is AI-generated, in British English
