About
İmanım works out prayer times on your phone. It trusts your device rather than a server: in airplane mode, up a mountain, or with the network down, your times stay right. No account. No ads. No tracking. No paid tier. PRAYER TIMES • The six prayers and sunrise, from your own latitude and longitude • The official religious authority for your country is chosen for you — the app knows 20 of them: Diyanet, Umm al-Qura, Muslim World League, Egypt, ISNA and others • Shafi and Hanafi reckoning for Asr • A countdown to the next prayer on the home screen • Near the poles, where the sun does not rise on some days, times come from the nearest workable latitude — and the app says so on screen REMINDERS • A separate notification for every prayer • The adhan, or a silent notification • A reminder as long before the time as you like • Quiet hours, when you would rather not be disturbed QIBLA • The direction of the Kaaba from your device compass, corrected for magnetic declination • It tells you when you are aligned • A map and a globe: the true shortest path across the earth to the Kaaba THE QUR'AN • All 114 surahs in the Uthmani script • Diyanet's Turkish translation and Sahih International in English • 16 reciters, with the verse being recited followed on screen • Download surahs and listen with no connection • It remembers where you stopped reading • Search across verses and surahs • Qur'an radio, 15 stations, with a sleep timer DHIKR AND SUPPLICATION • Digital tasbih: nine ready dhikr, a target count, a counter that answers with a pulse • The 99 Names of Allah, each with its meaning • 38 supplications from the Qur'an, in five groups • A supplication of the day on the home screen CALENDAR AND SIRA • The Hijri calendar, from an Umm al-Qura table bundled on the device • 16 holy days and nights, before they arrive • The Sira: the life of the Prophet in 42 events, in the order they happened. Where the sources differ on a year, the app says so. WIDGETS • Prayer Times, Next Prayer, Today's Times, Countdown, Hijri Date, Dua of the Day • All six are free LANGUAGE AND APPEARANCE • Turkish, English and Arabic • In Arabic the whole interface reads right to left • Light and dark themes, following your system setting PRIVACY Your location is used on your device to work out the times and the qibla. It is not sent to us, because there is no us to send it to — the app has no server. If you search for a city, the name you type goes to OpenStreetMap. If you listen to a recitation or the radio, the audio comes from that broadcaster. Nothing else leaves your phone. No analytics, no crash reporter, no ad network. Prayer times in your pocket, offline.
