Sit down. Play a game of chess. Duo Chess brings two players together around one screen. Play face to face with a friend, challenge the computer, learn the rules, or revisit your games. No account is required. Play together • Face to face: share a board and start when both players are ready. • Side by side: sit together and take turns on the same board. • Save your games automatically and continue an unfinished game later. Practice on your own • Play the computer offline. Choose White or Black and one of four practice levels. • Use move hints and undo to explore the position. • Learn the basics through six interactive beginner lessons. • Solve 36 tactics puzzles, filter by level and theme, and revisit mistakes. • Practice king-and-queen and king-and-rook checkmates against computer defense. Look back at every move • Save and browse games, then replay them move by move. • Analyze positions locally, compare candidate moves, and find key mistakes. • Start a separate practice game from a position in your review. • Import PGN games or FEN positions and share PGN files. Make yourself comfortable A quiet sage-and-ivory interface adapts to iPhone and iPad. Choose English or Simplified Chinese in Settings, and adjust sound effects and haptic feedback. Your games and learning progress stay on your device. The app does not collect personal data or upload games automatically. Sharing happens only when you choose it.
