Milespie is a trip planner for independent travelers. It replaces the note that keeps getting longer: the night before you leave, finding tomorrow morning's train takes three swipes, the QR code is in your photos, the booking reference is in your inbox and the receipt is in another note. In Milespie, a finished trip is a pie, one slice a day: set it in the window for people to look at, hand the recipe to someone who wants to follow it, or throw a party and plan it together. ■ One slice per day, every item structured Sights, meals, stays, travel legs, bookings, events, checklists, notes and links each get the fields they need: time, place, cost, booking reference, party size. A single line of text is fine too. Nothing forces you to fill in a form. Type "12:50 lunch" into quick add and the time fills itself in. Deleted something by mistake? Tap Undo. ■ Transfers you can read on the platform A journey can hold several legs, each with its line, boarding and alighting stations, stops along the way, stop count and duration. Lines in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung get their official colors automatically, and you can color your own. Paste a Google Maps share link and the start, end and travel mode fill themselves in; paste legs you've written down in the supported format and Milespie splits them up. Outside Japan you can look up a route with one tap. ■ One tap to navigate Every place and every leg opens in Google Maps or Apple Maps: get directions with the right travel mode already chosen, or look up the place first for its hours and reviews. ■ Tickets live with the plan Photos, PDFs and QR tickets attach to the item that uses them, and you can snap receipts and tickets straight from the camera. The app downloads them ahead of time, so they open in airplane mode. ■ Know what you're spending Record an amount and currency on any item and see each day's total. See the whole trip by day or by category, converted to your home currency. ■ On the road • Reminders for things with a deadline, like "drop off luggage before 09:00" • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets plus a Live Activity show what's next • Apple Watch: today's plan on your wrist, the next stop on your watch face, QR tickets and checklists a raise away • Sort unscheduled places by distance from you.
