Five Facts: Daily Trivia Quiz

About

Five short facts a day. Four are true. One is invented. Read all five, accuse the fake, and see why each one was true or false. THE DAILY FIVE Every day brings a new set of five, the same five for everyone in the world. Swipe through the cards, pick the one you think was made up, confirm, and watch the verdict land: the card turns, the sticker stamps TRUE or FAKE, and every fact shows a one-line reason. One try a day, a new five at midnight. PRACTICE, AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE Six categories to play between dailies: space, the ocean, history, the human body, animals and tech. A fresh set every round, never the one you just played. A STREAK THAT FORGIVES Every daily you finish counts, right or wrong, because the streak is about showing up. The calendar strip fills one day at a time. Miss a day and a streak freeze covers it on its own, with no pop-up. Freezes are earned: every seventh day of a streak earns one, and you can earn one more a day by choosing to watch a short ad. You hold up to two. TWENTY BADGES, THREE TIERS EACH Bronze, silver and gold stamps for the things you do: keeping a streak, perfect days with no hints, fakes caught in a row, every category, early-morning dailies, and more. Tap any badge to see how to earn its next tier. LEVELS AND PERSONAL BESTS Every round pays XP, and the ring on Today fills toward the next level. Your personal bests — longest streak, most fakes caught in a row, perfect days, fastest daily catch, days played — are yours alone. No leaderboard, no strangers. HINTS WHEN YOU ARE STUCK Coins earned by playing buy two hints: remove one true fact from the running, or see the crowd's pick (a playful figure computed by the app and labelled "our guess"). SHARE WITHOUT SPOILERS Share today's result as a card or as a line of squares that never gives the answer away. Share a streak or a badge when you earn one. A NUDGE, ONLY IF YOU WANT ONE Turn on the streak reminder and Five Facts sends one local notification a day, at the time you pick, only while that day's five are still unplayed. YOURS, ON YOUR PHONE No account and no sign-in. Your progress, streak and badges are stored on the device. English and Spanish. Light and dark. FREE, WITH ADS Five Facts is free. A small banner pays for it, and now and then a full-screen ad appears after a round, never in the middle of one. Nothing is sold. Every fact is written by hand. The true ones are well established; the fake one is plausible, and the reveal says why it is false.
