Numa: Calculator & Notes

About

Numa is a calculator for iPhone and iPad where every calculation stays on the canvas like a note. Change a number and every result updates instantly. A CANVAS, NOT A DISPLAY Calculations sit freely on a canvas that grows with you. Nothing disappears after the equals sign: tap a number, change it, and everything that depends on it is right again. LINKED VALUES Select a result and press an operator: a linked number appears below it in its own color. Or drag one number onto another. Changes flow through as many steps as you like. CALCULATE WITH NAMES Label a number, say “Rent”, and keep calculating with the name: Rent × 12. A canvas reads like a page of notes and works like a spreadsheet. SCENARIOS Give a number up to three values (A, B, C). Numa works through every scenario and shows the results side by side. SLIDERS AND GRAPHS • A slider on any number, smooth or in whole numbers • Graphs: a number becomes x, its result the curve. Several curves, live UNITS, DATES, CURRENCIES Units calculate along: 120 km ÷ 1.5 h = 80 km/h, 120 USD/h × 8 h = 960 USD. Dates and times too: today + 90 d, 17:30 − 08:15 = 9 h 15 min, workdays until a date. Plus 25 currencies with the European Central Bank’s reference rates. OVER 30 FUNCTIONS Percent the way you’d do it by hand (78 + 7% = 83.46), powers, roots, factorial, logarithms, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions in degrees or radians, random numbers, scientific notation. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division use exact decimals: 0.1 + 0.2 is 0.3. FOR iPhone AND iPad • Multiple canvases in Files and iCloud Drive; the last one opens at launch • Capture numbers from paper with the camera • Drag and drop, into other apps too • Hardware keyboard, left-handed mode, VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Dark Mode • Share as PDF, image or text, print NUMA PRO Numa is free: the canvas, linking, names, sliders and all functions. A one-time purchase, not a subscription, unlocks graphs, units, dates and currencies, scenarios and the camera. PRIVACY No account, no ads, no analytics. Numa calculates on your device and only downloads exchange rates when you convert currencies. Privacy: https://numa.bognar.net/en/privacy/
