You get the weight with its unit, and the required quantity by grade and category. ■ Reads material list notation as written 2-H-400×200×8×13×4000 / PL-9t / L-65×65×6 / [-100×50×5t / φ22×700 — count, symbol, dimensions and length in one line. Full-width digits and shop names such as "channel" are read too. ■ Never mixes up the unit Sections, flat bars and round bars in kg/m, steel plate in kg/m², cut plate in kg. When units differ inside one take-off sheet, each row carries its own unit. ■ When one designation points to two sections, no answer is given H-400×200 points to two standard JIS sections (396×199×7×11 and 400×200×8×13). They differ by 16.7%, so no result is shown until you pick one. The app never picks quietly for you. ■ Totals come in two tiers Design quantity and the required quantity (design plus allowance), laid out by grade and category. Standard allowances: sections +5%, steel plate +3%, bolts +4%, anchor bolts 0% (Standard Method of Measurement for Public Building Works, MLIT Japan). Change them to your in-house standard if you have one. ■ Put the take-off sheet on paper (Pro, one-time purchase) A4 PDF, and CSV you can paste into your own estimate.
