About
Although it hasn't received much attention, iOS 27 introduced a new RAW processing feature called "RAW9." The AI noise reduction included in this feature is remarkably powerful, so I created a simple, easy-to-use app to utilize it. ##### How to Use ##### 1. Place the RAW image you want to process in a location accessible via the file browser, such as iCloud Drive (anywhere visible in Apple's native "Files" app). 2. Launch the app and select the noise reduction intensity (start with "Strong"; switch to "Weak" if the result looks unnatural). 3. Tap the "Select File" button to open the file browser and select the target image. 4. Wait a moment for the noise-reduced image to appear, then save it if you are satisfied. 5. The processed image is saved in 8bit TIFF format. ##### Supported Images ##### The app supports DNG files and certain camera-specific RAW files; it cannot process JPEG or HEIF images. Camera RAW compatibility depends on iOS itself; formats not currently supported might become compatible in future OS updates. You can check which cameras are supported under the current OS version in the settings; please check back after OS updates to see if the list of supported cameras has expanded. ##### Camera RAW formats supported in iOS 27.0 ##### This list is based on information obtained from iOS; actual operation with each camera model has not been independently verified.
