Elite Speed Read

About

Make time for the words you meant to read. That article you saved. The book you want to start. The notes you need to revisit. Elite Reader brings them into a calm reading space, with a pace you control and a place waiting when you return. FREE TO START. ROOM TO GROW. Keep up to five saved readings free, with all five reading modes, folders, progress, widgets, and available on-device notes. Optional Elite Reader Pro removes the saved-reading limit through a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription or renewal. Device storage and import size limits still apply. FIND YOUR READING RHYTHM Explore five reading modes: follow one word at a time, move through short groups, or keep the whole paragraph in view. Adjust playback from 80 to 1,200 words per minute. Pause, slow down, or jump back to the full text whenever you need more context. BRING YOUR OWN READING Import web articles, PDF and unprotected EPUB books, TXT, Markdown, RTF, and HTML files. Paste your own text, scan printed pages, or choose photos for on-device text recognition. Review and edit extracted text before saving. Share supported content to Elite Reader from other apps, or begin with an included sample. A LIBRARY THAT HOLDS YOUR PLACE Organize readings in folders, search titles and text, and filter by reading status. Return to your saved place and keep reading offline. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets put reading progress and shortcuts close at hand. MAKE A LITTLE READING HABIT Set a daily goal and watch your activity, streaks, weekly words, and session history take shape. Progress counts active playback, not paused time or skipped words. Any time-saved figure is an estimate against a 200 WPM reference, not a measure of comprehension. YOUR PACE. YOUR SPACE. Choose light, dark green, or charcoal appearance. Adjust text size, accents, focus guides, and reading defaults. Invite Bolt or Arctic to keep you company: drag your floating reading pet to a comfortable spot, tap for help, or let it rest. Automatic hints stay quiet during playback, and you can hide the pet in Settings. RETURN TO THE GOOD IDEAS Reading Companion brings together source excerpts from your text. On compatible devices with available Apple Intelligence, optional on-device notes help you revisit a reading. Generated notes can make mistakes; check the source for important details. No account is required. Saved reading, progress, and notes are stored locally. Text recognition happens on your device. Online imports and artwork search require an internet connection. Elite Reader requires iOS 18 or later. Optional generated notes require iOS 26 or later, supported hardware, and available Apple Intelligence for your language and settings. Imports extract readable text rather than preserve original page layouts. Protected books and unsupported formats cannot be imported; large or complex documents may need to be split or scanned. Books and articles are not supplied as a subscription catalog.
